Student City Complex

Tel Aviv University's Student City Complex is the largest construction project in the history of the institution. It covers a total area of 35,000 square meters, and includes eight new seven to nine storey dormitories, alongside green spaces, a shopping center with shops, cafes and restaurants, a student club and more.

The existing dormitories on Einstein Street and the corner of Brodsky contain about 920 beds, so the new "student city" almost triple the students housing supply.

Tel Aviv University's new dormitories include about two hundred two-room apartments, about one hundred three-room apartments for families or partners, and for the first time in Israel, also a thousand studio apartments.

The new dormitories were built to a high standard of construction and each apartment includes, among other things, air conditioner, LCD screens, cable, built-in internet, kitchen and more. The buildings themselves are built to the LEED standard - an American standard for green building - and include an extremely cost-effective air conditioning system and double insulation in the walls. The existing dormitories were also recently renovated at a cost of about NIS 100 million.
